Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a wholesaler in the Newry area on the appointment of a Purchasing Manager.
What’s in it for you:

Responsibilities in your new role:
- Sourcing new products, developing, and implementing purchasing strategies
- Develop relationships with key suppliers negotiating best price and lead time whilst continually monitoring quality and performance
- Daily use of Sage X3 system for stock replenishment and demand forecasting
- Attend tradeshows and ensure that current stock range is evolving to meet customer demands
- Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets
- Strong focus on process improvements around procurement systems and processes
What you will need to succeed:
- A minimum of 3 years procurement experience at a senior level
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and all Microsoft Office packages
- CIPS qualifications (Desirable but not essential)
