Capex are working in partnership with a manufacturing firm based in the North Dublin area on the appointment of a Buyer.

- Work Hours: Monday to Thursday (8:15 am – 5:00pm) & Friday (8:15am – 4.00pm)
Role responsibilities:
- Procurement of a range of machine parts ensuring all parts and materials are on site, on time to ensure the smooth day to day running of production
- Build trusted relationships with a portfolio of key suppliers whilst continually monitoring performance
- Attend meetings with suppliers, tier’s etc
- Gather market intelligence information for use in negotiation and supplier development meetings
- Develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues in the branch network and at the centre
- Ensure urgent requests are actioned in a timely manner whilst keeping key stakeholders updated
What you will need to succeed:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a procurement role within a fast paced, manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems as well as all Microsoft office packages
